The system enables measuring the surface tension (liquid-gas) and interfacial tension (liquid-liquid) IFT using the pendant drop method at high temperature and pressure. The system includes a visual cell for monitoring the pendant drop, an external heater, a needle for injection of the liquid into the cell, a vibration free table, a camera to record the drop dimensions and a software to analyze the results. The needle can be changed to various size to cover a wide range of measurements.
